Dave installed our solar-powered farm gate and it's GREAT! After 21 years of opening and closing it manually at least twice a day, it's cool not having to get out of the car, especially in the rain!
Dave's work was outstanding. He knows his profession extremely well and is proud of the work he does. He is honest, punctual, and gives great value for the money.

As with all contractors who are online, you never know what you are going to get and you wonder if you should even call some of them.
I called several and got little if any response until I called Dave. I was immediately responded to and asked politely what my needs were. After explaining what we needed, he explained what he could do since my fence was a little unusual.
I wanted him to complete a backyard fence I started and add another fence on the side of our house to give our new dog a place to roam.
Dave was on time and within my budget. He was done in two days and worked into the night to finish.
He is truly amazing and I felt very fortunate to have found him. You can take it from me, Dave is the real deal. Honest, caring, experienced and trustworthy.

I found Dave by searching CraigsList. Hiring someone you find on the internet can be trouble, but right from the start I knew Dave was a professional. He arrived for my estimate 5 minutes early, and he presented himself as a person who takes his business seriously, and takes pride in his craft. His price was only about $50 more than another bidder, but his professionalism was worth a whole lot more than that. Dave installed about 200 ft. of 6 ft wood fence, and a gate at one of my rental properties. The work was 100% perfect! There was a big tree on the property line where the fence was to be installed. Dave brought the fence right up near the tree, and made it look like a custom fence done by a true craftsman. See for yourself, the picture is on this webpage. The end result?...I have another property that needs a fence, and I am going to make only 1 phone call...to Dave Mattice.

We found Dave on Craigslist, you never know what you are going to get from Craigslist but I figured it couldn't hurt to have him come give me an estimate. It worked out great, he arrived early for his appointment, very professional and offered us several different options, without trying to push the most expensive fence. The fence installation was great, he did the job in a timely manner and even had solutions to keep the dogs from digging UNDER the fence. I would recommend Dave to anyone, he is a good guy who does great work at a GREAT price.
